The morning Shooting at a Washington Navy Yard from yesterday continued to baffle the nation. Late last night, we got a sneak preview of today’s front cover of the Washington Post from Mark Berman.

Following the shooting, the Washington Post’s Ian Shapira reports of a family bracing for awful news about a missing loved one. Cecilia Kang there wrote, “.@ianshapira heartbreaking account of a family's wait on new about on Navy Yard shooting.” Jennifer Thompson at the Post-Standard called the story: “A punch in the gut.” Juana Summers from Politico added, “Powerful @ianshapira read on #NavyYardShooting.
