Jim Sciutto returns to news via CNN
Just back from Beijing, Jim Sciutto has joined CNN as chief national security correspondent in Washington, D.C. Sciutto returns to the news industry after serving as chief of staff and senior advisor to Gary Locke, the U.S. Ambassador to China, however he previously served as ABC News' senior foreign correspondent until Sept. 2011. "Great to be on board @CNN as Chief National Security Correspondent. Gonna be a busy start with #syria debate in full swing," Sciutto tweeted, adding, "Just updated my handle to @jimsciuttoCNN from @jimsciuttoChina though doesn't mean I'll forget China!"
Some additional, interesting info from Rebecca Dupin of ABC 7 Washington, D.C., who confided, "So glad to have @jimsciuttoCNN back on the air reporting. Good background on his fascinating past two years."
