Megyn Kelly to host "The Kelly File"

We knew Megyn Kelly would be headlining a new show with FOX News Channel when she returned from maternity leave. She teased via tweet back in July, "Lots of tweets wondering where I am going-I am starting maternity leave on 7/4; when I return I am moving to FNC prime time. New beginnings!" Now we know the rest of the details: Kelly will host a new primetime program called "The Kelly File," launching Oct. 7.

Kacy Capobres of Fox News queried followers, "Did you know?" while retweeting Buzzfeed's McKay Coppins' words "With @megynkelly move, @FoxNews will have more women hosts in primetime than any other cable news network." Meanwhile, Ken Tucker of Entertainment Weekly and NPR announced, "I called it; the Bill/@megynkelly combo is v wise 4 ratings."
