Little Rock reporter heads to DC

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette has sent its politics reporter to the nation's capital just in time for the shutdown: Sarah D. Wire is now the publication's Washington, DC correspondent. Wire had previously served as state politics reporter since 2010.

"At the end of this month I will move to Washington, D.C. to cover national politics for @ArkansasOnline," she recently announced.

"Congratulations, @sarahdwire! We'll all miss you in Little Rock," tweeted Jeannie Nuss, an Associated Press reporter stationed there.

Congratulations, Sarah! And because we're sure you've got your hands full at the moment, best of luck, too!
