Question of the Day

Yesterday's Question of the Day asked ... Before Good Morning America usurped it in 1975, what was the program hosted by Stephanie Edwards and Bill Beutel called? That would be AM America, which launched in January 6, 1975 to compete with NBC's Today. It was eventually combined with the locally-produced, and more easygoing, The Morning Exchange out of WEWS in Cleveland, to create GMA in November of that same year!

Congrats to Kirk Ackerson, social media manager at the American Academy of Family Physicians, for being the first reader to tweet in correctly! Honorable mentions go to Gabrielle Kur and Bill Chuck for also tweeting in correctly. Thanks for playing, all!

Your question of the day for today is ... Who continued to draw the famous cartoon with a social angle "Yellow Kid" for Sunday World after Richard Felton Outcault left?
