The Atlantic adds two to website

The Atlantic welcomes back Uri Friedman as global editor for its website, TheAtlantic.com. Friedman most recently worked as deputy managing editor for Foreign Policy

"Very excited to announce that I'll be rejoining @TheAtlantic in November as editor of @TheAtlanticGLBL," Friedman tweeted. As a nod to his soon-to-be former colleagues, he also shared, "I will miss working with the incredible team @ForeignPolicy and can't wait to follow the exciting developments here in the months ahead."

At the same time, Moisés Naím also joins TheAtlantic.com as a contributing editor to the global channel. He too has roots at FP, where he once served as editor-in-chief for 14 years.

"Proud to join The Atlantic as contributing editor!" Naím announced, adding, "Here is my first column: 'What World Bankers Fear Most.'"

"Good news out for us today: @UriLF and @MoisesNaim are joining @TheAtlantic," reflected executive editor J.J. Gould. Congratulations to both gentlemen, and The Atlantic.
