Crain's NY producer joins CNBC

Elisabeth Cordova has left her position as senior news producer with Crain’s New York Business for a gig as news producer with CNBC.com.

"Cheers to my friend @typingelbow Elisabeth Cordova for landing an awesome job at CNBC!" tweeted Megan Kamerick, a producer with New Mexico PBS.

As for Cordova's reaction, it was as humbly nonchalant as you could imagine: "Oh, look! I'm in the news!" she tweeted.

Prior to Crain's, Cordova clearly proved her business beat chops reporting for New Orleans CityBusiness and the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal. When it comes to replacing a producer with such a thorough knowledge of the New York market, Crain's will have their work cut out for them.
