WSJ poaches from the LA Times

Today marks Alejandro Lazo's first day at the Wall Street Journal, where he has joined the West Coast bureau as a reporter covering politics and policy issues. Previously Lazo was on the housing and the real estate market beat while based in Los Angeles with the LA Times, but now you'll most likely see him reporting out of San Francisco and Sacramento.

The loss will clearly be felt at the Times.

"Doing my best to immortalize @alejandrolazo in the @latimes newsroom before he heads north," Armand Emamdjomeh tweeted from the Times, sharing this touching greyscale Instagram.
