AP adds economics reporter

The Associated Press has announced Joshua Boak will join as an economics reporter in Washington, DC. Boak joins the AP from the Fiscal Times, where he currently serves as deputy Washington bureau chief on the economics and politics beats. Prior to FT, Josh also reported for Politico, the Chicago Tribune, and Toledo's The Blade. Also noteworthy was his work as a reporter/researcher for Bob Woodward's Obama’s Wars.

"Congrats on the new gig!!" an acquaintance tweeted.

"Thanks!" Boak replied. "Should be interesting after the jobs report yesterday."

He has a very good point, there. Good luck with all that, Josh!
