Who Will Win Control of the South China Sea? The New York Times investigated this morning in another beautiful interactive piece. Adam Sternbergh there said, “Beautiful story, beautifully presented: 8 Filipino servicemen on rusty wreck protect the South China Sea—from China.” Colleague Daniel Victor explained, “Calling this story a Snowfall sequel is like calling ‘Wrecking Ball’ a ‘Party in the USA’ sequel.”
