Bloomberg reporter heads to NYT

Danielle Ivory will soon leave Bloomberg News in Washington to join the business desk at the New York Times

"Exciting news! I'm moving to NYC to join The New York Times/@nytimes," she tweeted, adding, "Can't wait to get started."

Despite the loss, her Bloomberg compatriots were full of praise for her announcement.

"Great news for you and for the NYT!" replied Julie Bykowicz at Bloomberg.

"Congratulations, best wishes and #FF to @danielle_ivory," responded Greg Giroux, also there. "Sterling reporter, even better person!"

Meanwhile, NYT economics reporter Catherine Rampell greeted her, "Welcome @danielle_ivory to the @nytimes business desk! Theater-loving, business-reporting tigers unite!"

It sounds like she's fitting in already, and the job hasn't even officially begun yet. Congratulations, Danielle!
