Over in New York, The New York Times’ David Chen writes that De Blasio is in a Position to Win Mayor’s Race by a Historic Margin, Poll Shows. He also tweeted, “3/5 of NYC voters are basically OK with @deblasioNYC breaking into ‘Sweet Caroline’ at Yankees or Mets game.” Josh Benson at Capital New York said, “In NYC, three-quarters of likely voters, including 4 in 10 Republican voters, view the Republican Party unfavorably.” Josh Greenman at the New York Daily News explained, “55% of those polled (incorrectly) call Lhota a typical Republican,” and added, “De Blasio's lead has fallen to 45 points.”
