About Rob Ford

As for the mayor to the North, Robyn Doolittle at the Toronto Star writes that the Rob Ford crack video story started with an anonymous early morning phone call to a reporter. Jennifer Hough there called it a “Good backgrounder on how the story was uncovered.” Les Perreaux with the Globe and Mail said, “Great piece by @robyndoolittle. Still fuzzy on whether they were going to pay, how much, or whether they fibbed.”

For more on this story, Steve Ladurantaye points out that from Charlottetown to Vancouver, Ford is on the front pages of almost all of today's papers. Freelancer John McQuaid wrote, “A collage of Canada's Rob Ford front pages this a.m. via @SimonOstler.” Kimberly Wilson with The Oregonian said, “Canadian papers laser onto #TorontoMayor Rob Ford's crack admission.”  Danny Hakim from the New York Times just pointed to one of the French heds: “Oui, J'ai fume du crack.” Jacquie McNish at Globe and Mail realized this is “Our mayor's legacy.”
