WSJ Live's ground-breaking anchor and managing editor Gwendolyn "Wendy" Bounds soon departs The Wall Street Journal for a role as senior director of video for Consumer Reports.
"Wait, whoa, MediaPost reports that @gwendolynbounds is headed to Consumer Reports to lead its video team. Is this true??" asked a startled fan on Twitter.
"True!" Bounds replied, simply.
It's no secret that she is well-suited to the position carved out for her at CR. Credited with expanding WSJ's video operations in recent years, Bounds is also known for anchoring its popular 25-minute news/lifestyle show “Lunch Break" that airs daily.
"Congrats & best wishes to the talented @gwendolynbounds as she leaves @wsj for @consumerreports," tweeted NewsCorp vice president Raju Narisetti.
