The New York Times has named Coral Davenport its new climate and energy reporter. Currently an energy and environment correspondent with the National Journal, Davenport will depart for her new desk at the Grey Lady next month.

"Thrilled to share that after 3 great years @nationaljournal, I am moving over to cover #energy and #climate policy @nytimes," she shared on Twitter.

"Toasting the great @coralmdavenport, who's leaving us for @nytimes," tweeted colleague Lucia Graves, posting this picture.

We'll toast to that!
