Another day, another Russell Brand rant (or as we’ve come to call him, the British Alec Baldwin). This time, he’s raging at the Sun and Rupert Murdoch. Luke Harding at Guardian said, “Wonderful piece of anti-Murdoch polemic by Russell Brand. I love his use of the word ‘glabrous.’” Michael Moynihan at the Daily Beast put it another way, “The bearded student and his thesaurus are back (with slightly better editing this time around).” Glenn Greenwald wrote, “Another great @rustyrockets column - one of the most interesting & incisive political commentators around.” Tim Stanley with the Telegraph was less imporesses: “‘Cor blimey - Homer loved a dingo! Rupert Murdocky-wocky is right awful, love!’ Russell Brand's written more rubbish.”
Then let’s turn to Murray Weiss at DNAInfo, who writes that Ray Kelly will Stash the De Blasio NYPD Transition Team in a Trailer. Tom Liddy there explained, “The keys to the city for Mayor-elect @deblasioNYC's NYPD transition team open a trailer outside police HQ.” Kristen Meriwether at the Epoch Times said, “.@deBlasioNYC transition team at 1PP forced to work in a trailer, with limited access.” Jody Avirgan from WNYC tweeted this quote from the story: "You are talking about the next police commissioner and his people and you are putting him in a trailer in the back."
