Featured journalist: Ronnie Crocker

Nov 29, 2013

We're finishing off another week of Muck Rack Dailies by featuring Ronnie Crocker, the assistant business editor (and beer blogger!) with the Houston Chronicle. Born in Galveston and raised in the Houston area, Crocker worked as a journalist at the Bryan-College Station Eagle in Texas and the Daily Press in Newport News, Virginia, before finally returning home to join the Chronicle in 1994. Also the author of Houston Beer: A Heady History of Brewing in the Bayou City, he is a self-described "unapologetic Houstonian" who came to launch the Beer, TX blog in March 2009.

And so it should come as no surprise that his beats primarily include food and dining, business and finance, and -- you guessed -- all things "Space City." He holds a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a master s of business administration from the College of William and Mary. Follow his beer writing here, and check out his portfolio and his twitterfeed for more on Houston, brews, and other good things!

Remember: If you also want to be featured here, you should 1) set up your own journalist portfolio 2) get verified and 3) let us know by emailing Kirsten.
