NBC News Adds Neely

NBC News welcomes Bill Neely as chief global correspondent, a role which will base him in London. Previously the international editor for ITV News for the past 11 years, Neely boasts 30 years of experience in journalism. It's a career that has led him to cover world-changing events ranging from the collapse of the Berlin Wall to the attack on the World Trade Center.

"Wishing master wordsmith @billneelyitv good luck as he takes up a huge job as Chief Global Corr for @NBCNews," tweeted Laura Brander at ITV News. "They are extremely lucky."

"Laura, thank you," Neely replied. "Wonderful to work with you." He punctuated with the hashtag .
