Mashable brings in Abbruzzese

Dec 12, 2013

Mashable has found a new media reporter in Jason Abbruzzese, the web editor for The Financial Times. At the FT, Abbruzzese took charge of a wide spectrum of duties, including editing and contributing to beyondbrics, Alphaville, and the FT Data Blog. Understandably, his colleagues there are missing him already.

"A fond #FF and farewell to @JasonAbbruzzese. Sorry to see you go," FT's Andrew Edgecliffe-Johnson tweeted.

"To a wonderful colleague and partner in crime on the markets desk, @JasonAbbruzzese, who's off to do great things @mashable," harmonized Arash Massoudi, also there.

Meanwhile, from the man himself: "My first thoughts on working @Mashable - really happy with the abundance of doge references," Abbruzzese quipped on Twitter.

A doge-heavy environment is a happy environment. Congratulations!

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
