Reporting Fellowship for US Minority Journalists at ICFJ

Reporting Fellowship for US Minority Journalists at The International Center for Journalists - Over the years, minority journalists have had few opportunities to work as foreign correspondents. The International Center for Journalists' "Bringing Home the World: International Reporting Fellowship Program for Minority Journalists" aims to level the playing field and provide reporters of color with new set of international reporting skills.

Selected journalists attend a week-long orientation at ICFJ's headquarters in Washington, D.C., where they will fine-tune their reporting projects. Following orientation, fellows will report in the field for up to two weeks.

Applicants must present a project proposal in their application, detailing the reporting project they would be interested in pursuing. The application deadline is February 3, 2014.
