Big changes at CS Monitor

Dec 18, 2013

The Christian Science Monitor has announced a big move for its masthead. Managing editor Marshall Ingwerson (below and at left) has just been named the CS Monitor's editor, succeeding John Yemma

"Congrats to @ingwersonm, new editor of @csmonitor & tx to @JohnYemma for his watch...from strength to strength!" heralded Tony Lobl.

Yemma (at right) leaves behind a considerable legacy, having been credited for spearheading the publication's transition from daily print to "Web-first journalism." According to the Monitor, Yemma announced his stepping down so that he might focus on writing for the Monitor, as well as other creative opportunities.

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
