Change-ups at CBS This Morning

CBS News recently revealed several promotions and additions in store for its program CBS This Morning. These include the promotion of John Peck to senior producer of the show's on-air operation, as well as the addition of Adam Verdugo as senior producer in charge of the Los Angeles team. (On that note, Verdugo quipped on Twitter, "Calm down everyone. Kobe is just resting before I move to LA.")

First up, Peck was most recently a supervising producer hired by CBS in 2011 when he was with KIRO 7 Seattle, a CBS affiliate.

"Congrats to @jwhp on your promotion!" tweeted Jenni Hogan at KING 5 TV Seattle, adding the hastag #GreatProducer.

Meanwhile, Verdugo joins CBS from NBC NewsMeet the Press.

"Congrats @AdamVerdugo on new gig," tweeted NBC national investigative correspondent Jeff Rossen. "Will miss you here!"

"Thanks Jeff! We'll always have the hockey house," was Verdugo's semi-mysterious reply.
