Griffith leaves Pando for Fortune

Beloved PandoDaily tech writer Erin Griffith is leaving her job of covering New York start-ups to join Fortune.com. The magazine reportedly is beefing up with writers and editors for its website, which will soon split from CNN and CNNMoney.com.

The news was broken with a tweet from the Fortune account itself, which read, "Housekeeping note: We are thrilled that the talented @eringriffith will soon be joining our growing team. Welcome Erin!"

"Ooh nice work, Fortune," tweeted Anthony Ha at TechCrunch.

"Their name compels them to bc it would be unfortunate if you weren't there," tweeted Delve News CTO Tom Weingarten, adding the hashtags #puns #justthebeginning and #imsosorry.

"Worst. Worst ever. Haha," Griffith replied to him.

We look forward to many more "worst puns" connected with the best of news. Congrats, Erin!
