Peter Kafka from Re/Code reports that Facebook Buys Branch, the Messaging Startup Backed By Twitter’s Co-founders. Mike Isaac there wrote, “next Q! what's @goldman gonna do next now that @branch got snapped up by FB?” Dorrine Mendoza at CNN described it as “Social worlds colliding.” Elana Zak at the Wall Street Journal added: “Facebook buys Branch, ‘will be put to work creating 'Facebook’s Conversations group.’” Saumya Vaishampayan with MarketWatch added, “I think there's a bubble of one-word startups in the tech world #branch #jelly.”
