Bloomberg taps White House scribe

Jan 16, 2014

Bloomberg News welcomes Jonathan Allen next month as White House correspondent. Most recently the White House bureau chief for Politico, Allen should be very comfortable in that new role!

"Welcoming @jonallendc to @BloombergNews, who joins us as a White House correspondent in a few weeks," announced deputy managing editor Craig Gordon.

Allen, who has authored a book on Hillary Clinton among other accomplishments, seems the perfect person suited to the task of covering the Oval Office. U.S. Health Policy Reporter Alex Wayne saw fit to bring that up: "My man @jonallendc wrote a book about @HillaryClinton, of all things, and here's a pretty entertaining excerpt."

We look forward to more of Allen's insights starting next month!

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
