CNN promotes correspondent

Joe Johns has been named senior Washington correspondent at CNN. Most recently a crime and justice correspondent since June 2012, he also served as Capitol Hill correspondent since first joining CNN in 2004. So it seems that Johns will celebrate his tenth year with the network with an admirable new beat!

"A good man! Fantastic move by @CNN," tweeted Cheri Jacobus, a columnist and contributor to The Hill and The Guardian.

"Congrats to @joejohnscnn, the King of DC," Chris Knowles praised.

... It appears that Johns can now add "king of DC" to his titles, as well!

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
