NYT Mag names new correspondent
Since Matt Bai left in November to write a column for Yahoo News, The New York Times Magazine has had a spot to fill. Now it appears they've done so: Jim Rutenberg now joins the magazine as chief political correspondent. Previously the national political correspondent with The New York Times, Rutenberg is already comfortable covering investigative news and should fit in well at their Sunday magazine supplement.
Bai also reached out to support his replacement. "Congrats @jimrutenberg, who will be awesome."
Rutenberg replied, "thanks Matt -- big shoes to try to fill."
