Snowden and snowfall

A great scoop by Huffington Post's Ryan Grim and Kate Sheppard explains how new Snowden docs reveal the NSA monitored the communications of other governments ahead of and during the 2009 UN climate negotiations in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sheppard playfulling called it "Snoopenhagen." Kenneth Vogel at Politico quipped, "So they got intel on lack of progress."

And speaking of Politico, here's their breakdown of why only two inches of snow turned Atlanta into anarchy. (So you can stop making fun of them now, Northerners.) Kevin Massey at 9 News Denver called it, "Important reading for those who still think Atlanta's snow debacle is more about Southerners who can't drive in snow."
