Featured journalist: Ujjwal Acharya

Feb 18, 2014

Today we are delighted to feature Ujjwal Acharya, digital editor with the Annapurna Post. Based in Kathmandu, he covers politics and world affairs. A self-described hobbyist blogger, enthusiastic user of media, and media activist, his interest in information technology and  the internet eventually led him to becoming one of the pioneer bloggers in Nepal. He is also a co-founder/blogger at United We Blog!, and contributor to the now-closed Radio Free Nepal.

Be sure to check out Acharya's Muck Rack portfolio, featuring a piece called "Personal is not private," which tackles the question whether journalists should be allowed to quote people's personal tweets.

Remember: If you also want to be featured here, you should 1) set up your own journalist portfolio 2) get verified and 3) let us know by emailing Kirsten.
