Mashable hires away NYT editor

Mashable has tapped Jonathan Ellis for the role of Managing Editor. Currently a senior editor with the New York Times, in his new position Ellis will oversee the daily news report, manage a team of news editors, and help develop new editorial projects starting with Mashable’s newest: expanding its travel coverage.
