Congratulations to WheelsForWomen, Ireland's first motoring website for women, for being the very first to answer that question correctly! Honorable mentions also go out to Ken Walker of the Tampa Bay TimesM. Edward BoraskyCraig Pittman also at the Tampa Bay TimesRon Harris of the Associated PressJeanne KirkLynda AlbertsonSkyra RideauxLITEHiram ReisnerMarco RomandiniRachel RohHugh Cutler, and Edward Tenner for also getting it right!

As for today's question: Czech writer and journalist Karel Čapek was credited with inventing and introducing a strange, new word in 1920 for a concept that was still alien then, but now it's used all over the world. What is the word?
