Friday we skipped asking a trivia question of the day and instead solicited people's favorite works of Anja Niedringhaus, whose recent loss was deeply felt by the journalistic community. We were touched by many of the responses. "Favourite photo Anja Niedringhaus - gets frenetic feel across," tweeted freelance journalist Anna Reitman. At Harvard, Marty Ray shared this incredible image, and tweeted, "My favorite @NiedringhausAP photo is ..." Journalist Rachel Roh also responded, "Anja recorded the toll of war and the universality of humanity," and added this poignant photograph. Thank you to everyone who shared their answers. Niedringhaus's work has clearly left an indelible mark on the history of photojournalism, and we send our deepest condolences to the Associated Press and her loved ones.
Today's question of the day: Which two journalism schools claim to be the first ones in the world? (Which one do you think is right?)
