The Weather Channel welcomes back Schwartz

Here's a happy reunion. The Weather Channel welcomes back meteorologist Dave Schwartz after a six year absence. A "fan favorite" with the public, Schwartz was with TWC for more than 20 years before he had to leave in 2008, and spent the past two years writing a weather column for the Orange County Post Sentinel. Schwartz will be back on air mid-April.

"Whenever @TWCDaveSchwartz first day back on the air is... I'm calling it.. ratings overload," weatherman Nick Lilja predicted at KAMR NBC 4.

"April 21st at this point, Nick," Schwartz replied, helpfully.
