Around media town

Poynter’s Al Tompkins tells us that ABC News wants the Center for Public Integrity to share the Pulitzer for investigative reporting. Tarryn Mento with KPBS said, “Reporter wins a Pulitzer, two news organizations fight over it.” Eric Gorski at the Denver Post wrote, “Biggest honor is not a prize but ‘when sick and dying coal miners get the health care they deserve.’” Mark Katches at the Center for Investigative Reporting tweeted: “I have sinking feeling @Publici @ABC mess going to get uglier. Will it pose chilling effect on future partnerships?”

@WillMcAvoyACN found this photo last night and wondered: “Tell me exactly how this is breaking news, @cnn?”

Read an update on the Supreme Court’s press pass, of which Jay Rosen wondered: “How come @SCOTUSblog, the gold standard in Supreme Court coverage, cannot get credentialed to cover the damn court?” Josh Rogin at Daily Beast called it a “Shame.”
