Featured journalist: Alex Halperin

Today we thought we'd feature a freelance journalist, and that chosen journo is Alex Halperin, a roving reporter who has written for a bevy of esteemed publications, including Fortune, Fast Company, Business Insider, The American Prospect, Al-Jazeera America, The Washington Post, The Christian Science Monitor, The Daily Beast, Guernica and elsewhere. He's also worked full-time positions at Salon, BusinessWeek.com and Dow Jones.

Halperin has also earned accolades for his work, including a Sidney Award for his American Prospect story, "Drill, Maybe Drill?" Check out his Muck Rack portfolio for more samplings of his award-winning work, perhaps starting with one of his latest, "Silicon Valley's Avenging Angel."
