Question of the Day
Friday's question of the day asked: There was a song that was written by a folksinger about what Cooke did. What was it called, and who was it by? Bonus points if you link to a sound file/recording of it! That would be LA-based singer/songwriter Phranc, and here's a recording of her extremely catchy song Liar, Liar. Put that on your iPod!
Congratulations to Ken Walker of the Tampa Bay Times for being the very first to answer that correctly (and who also linked to the Castaways song Liar Liar, which has an identical chorus)! Honorable mentions also go out to Edward Tenner, Jeanne Kirk, eschuman , and Amy Zipkin for their right answers, as well.
And here's today's question: This 20th-century comic strip featured a Belgian reporter and his white dog hard at work on investigative journalism, but seldom is he seen actually turning in a story. Which serialized cartoon is this? Bonus points if you answer with its original French title!
