Question of the Day

Apr 22, 2014

Yesterday's question of the day asked: This 20th-century comic strip featured a Belgian reporter and his white dog hard at work on investigative journalism, but seldom is he seen actually turning in a story. Which serialized cartoon is this? Bonus points if you answer with its original French title! That would be The Adventures of Tintin, which was first published in French as Les Aventures de Tintin.

Congratulations to M Edward Borasky for being the very first to answer that correctly! Honorable mentions also go out to Jeanne KirkJann DorothyAmelie BruzatVic RyckaertHiram Reisner@.l.interpretationsHollywood HighlandsAndrew HoltzJeffrey DvorkinRamah Nyang, freelance journalist Amy Zipkin, and Azaleta Ishmael Newry for their right answers, as well.

And here's today's question: In which newspaper did The Adventures of Tintin first appear?
