Spotlight newsroom: Gainesville Sun

Apr 23, 2014

Today we'd like to explore the newsroom behind the Gainesville Sun, a newspaper published daily in Gainesville, Florida,  covering the North-Central portion of the state. Founded in 1876 as the Gainesville Times, it was renamed The Gainesville Sun only a short while later in 1879. The most highly followed journalist there is Pat Dooley, Sports Columnist, followed closely by Robbie Andreu, College Football Writer; Zach Abolverdi, Recruiting Writer; Kevin Brockway, Basketball Reporter; Larry Savage, High School Sports Editor; and Nathan Crabbe, Editorial Page Editor. Meanwhile, their highest trending article this morning is "GRU needs to admit that it is part of the water problem."
