Bloomberg gears up to name DC exec editor

After months of speculation, Bloomberg News plans to name business journalist Winnie O’Kelley to executive editor of its DC bureau. Currently the publication's financial crimes editor in New York, this promotion will make her additionally responsible for all government, legal and regulatory coverage, a scoop first shared by Politico's Dylan Byers.

"Big congrats to my friend and ex-colleague @winnieokelley, the new exec editor of Bloomberg's DC bureau!" David Joachim tweeted from the Washington bureau of the New York Times.

Also at Bloomberg, Stephanie Green tweeted after meeting O'Kelley that it's "exciting to work for company that has women leaders." Props to Bloomberg News!
