Recently we learned that Disney tried to buy BuzzFeed, and the details has plenty of journos scratching their heads. "Disney reportedly offered $1 billion for BuzzFeed, cuz 9x revenues makes sense...when? Answer that question," demanded Bloomberg View's Tim O'Brien. At CNBC, Kayla Tausche pointed out "In essence, @BuzzFeed is telling @Disney: 'We're worth 4x as much as the @washingtonpost.'"
Speaking of CNBC, they've put out a list of their top 25 people with the most profound impact on business and finance since 1989, the year CNBC went live. Ben Berkowitz there noticed, "The second-most clicked profile on our #CNBC25 list is actually No. 23, Aliko Dangote. (New name to US audiences?)"
