POLITICO Pro poaches from NYT

POLITICO Pro welcomes Sarah Wheaton as healthcare reporter. She joins from The New York Times, where she's been a digital staff editor based in DC since 2013.

"Last day in the NYT newsroom," Wheaton tweeted last month. "So honored to serve 7.5 years here, but couldn't resist chance to join health team @PoliticoPro."

"Sad to see the Jellis/Swheaton era end, but here’s to new adventures," responded Jonathan Ellis, himself an NYT transplant to Mashable.

"Good luck Sarah!" tweeted the beloved parody account, NYT Fridge.

Wheaton replied, "Thanks, fridge."
