Vinograd departs AP for NBC News

Cassandra Vinograd is switching jobs, but not cities: previously a London-based correspondent for the Associated Press, now Vinograd is a London-based senior writer with NBC News!

"So glad @CassVinograd joined us at @NBCNews. We get terrific stories like this," editorial directory Hillary Frey observed.

At the AP, Darlene Superville tweeted Vinograd, "Wondered why you were tweeting Mik? Now realize you don't work for @AP anymore. Congrats! But sorry you're gone."

Meanwhile, Vinograd discovered the only downside of her fantastic new job, tweeting, "The downside of working overseas for a network with such good TV shows is ALL THE SPOILERS in my inbox," then added the hashtags #Blacklist #TheVoice and #BigBang. We feel your pain, Cassandra, but congratulations, anyway! Follow Cassandra on Twitter at @CassVinograd.

Don’t forget - if you change your job in journalism or move to a different news organization, be sure to email Kirsten (kirsten [at] sawhorsemedia [dot] com) so we can reflect your new title. News job changes only, please! Thanks!
