Spotlight newsroom: Globe and Mail

May 21, 2014

For today's featured newsroom, we look north to the Globe and Mail, a nationally distributed Canadian newspaper based in Toronto. It's Canada's largest-circulation national newspaper and second-largest daily newspaper after the Toronto Star. The most highly followed journalist there is James Mirtle, Sports Reporter, followed by reporter Robyn Doolittle (who wrote "Crazy Town: The Rob Ford Story"); Mark MacKinnon,Senior International Correspondent; Eric Duhatschek, Hockey Columnist; Doug Saunders, European Bureau Chief and Columnist; and Andre Picard, Health Columnist.

Meanwhile, the Globe and Mail's highest trending article is "The problem with the Purple Pill: The risk you should know about if you’re taking stomach ulcer meds." Good to know.
