Tech moves at the Times

Some new developments in the Grey Lady's tech section! First up, Re/code’s Mike Isaac will join the New York Times as a technology reporter.

"After two years of working with a fantastic group of people at AllThingsD and Re/code, Friday is my last day at the company," Isaac announced. "I'm excited to start my new job at the New York Times at the end of June. I'll be based in manhattan, and moving to Brooklyn in a few weeks."

"Congrats to @MikeIsaac who is joining the NYT as a tech reporter. He will now spend his career trying to get the word 'Plop' into the paper," Times technology columnist Nick Bilton predicted.

Meanwhile, technology reporter Jenna Wortham will soon transition over to Sunday coverage.

"I'm excited to announce that I am joining the Sunday Business section full-time to do more in-depth reporting and feature-writing," Wortham tweeted yesterday.

New York Post's Mark Graham responded, "Is there a woot emoji? CONGRATTZ."

At Path, Dave Morin reacted, "great news! The world needs more in-depth reporting and feature-writing, not less. You've always been one of the best."
