Shake ups in social media
From Kara Swisher at Re/code we learn that Twitter is mulling over some moves among its top execs, including COO Ali Rowghani (501 shares). "Ah, there's the chaotic Twitter we know and love," came the nod from Chris O'Brien at the LA Times.
Even more alarmingly, The Verge's Russell Brandom reports that a Tweetdeck vulnerability lets attackers execute code remotely (6,515 shares). Still, Jonathan Stankiewicz with The Willimantic Chronicle vowed, "I'll stick with you Tweetdeck!"
And in Facebook news, Vindu Goel explains in the New York Times that the social media site will soon let users alter their ad profiles (1,908 shares). "This allows us to know what Facebook THINKS we want to see," community editor Holly Edgell surmised.
