Today's featured journalist is Scott Helman, a staff writer at The Boston Globe Sunday Magazine. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Helman is co-author of The Real Romney, a critically acclaimed 2012 biography of Mitt Romney, and Long Mile Home: Boston Under Attack, the City's Courageous Recovery, and the Epic Hunt for Justice. Previously the Globe’s political editor and a national political reporter, Helman also served as a lead writer on the 2008 presidential campaign.
A member of the Globe staff since 2000, Helman served as an online producer and writer for The Chicago Tribune prior to his Boston years. He is also a two-time finalist for a Boston/New England Emmy Award.
