Spotlight newsroom: RedEye Chicago

Jun 18, 2014

It's time to take a look at RedEye Chicago, a daily publication put out by the Chicago Tribune with a target audience of 18 to 34-year-olds. Interesting fact: one reason that RedEye (not to be confused with Red Eye, or Red-Eye, or any other web site with a similar name) was launched was to address the Tribune's loss of younger readership.

Looking at the newsroom, the most highly followed journalist there is Tracy SwartzReporter, followed by Amy GuthGeneral Manager, RedEye and Metromix; Michael NagrantFood Writer and Dining Contributor; Curt WagnerDeputy Digital Editor; Ernest WilkinsMusic Reporter; and finally, Jessica GalliartSocial Media Manager. On the other hand, their most active journo on Twitter this morning is Dana MoranFeatures Editor!
