Friday's job moves in journalism

With the weekend in sight, there's been plenty of position-swapping. Here are some highlights:

  • Michael Isikoff has been named chief investigative correspondent for Yahoo starting in August. Previously Isikoff served as a national investigative correspondent for NBC News.
  • Gena Kaufman joins People Style Watch as social media editor. She was previously a blogger for Glamour.com.
  • Los Angeles Times music editor Lorraine Ali has changed roles to become senior pop culture writer.
  • Alex Holley has been named co-host of Good Day Philadelphia at WTXF in Philadelphia. Previously she served as a video journalist at WMBF in Myrtle Beach. 
  • Courtney Gousman has been named general assignment reporter at WGN in Chicago. She had been a reporter and anchor at competitor WBBM.
  • Financial Times general assignment reporter Shannon Bond has been named U.S. media and marketing correspondent.
