NYT journalist swaps sections

Patricia Cohen is changing roles at The New York Times: previously the theatre editor for the Times, she now swaps the arts and culture beat for economics by joining its Business Day section

"Yes, it is official. I will be switching to cover economic policy @nytimes starting next month," Cohen tweeted, wryly adding, "My econ and stats profs can start kvelling."

"I'm really happy about @PatcohenNYT," Upshot editor David Leonhardt shared on Twitter. "I still have fond memories of her Saturday Ideas section (as a writer and reader)."
