Watch out for Neoguri, Japan

Typhoon Neoguri slammed the Japanese islands of Okinawa this morning, paralyzing transport as 600,000 were told to evacuate, Mashable reports (943 shares). Miles above in space, European Space Agency astronaut Alexander Gerst shared stunning aerial images in his photostream that showed how massive the supertyphoon truly is: "Went right above Supertyphoon #Neoguri," he tweeted. "It is ENORMOUS. Watch out, #Japan!"
